Volleyball Recap: Gallatin County Takes a Loss

Gallatin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Crab Orchard Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 29-27.

Gallatin County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Crab Orchard, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 16-13.

Coming up, Gallatin County will face off against Thompsonville at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crab Orchard, they will venture away from home to face off against Cobden at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
