Softball Recap: Lehi Gets the Win

Lehi's tournament run continued when they took on Galena on Thursday. Lehi walked away with a 7-3 victory over Galena.

The team relied heavily on Piper Emery, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Liv Davies, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Lehi hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive matchups.

Lehi's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Galena, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Lehi has already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Trabuco Hills on the 21st. As for Galena, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-7 draw against Foothill on the 20th.
