Crosstown entered their tilt with Memphis Business Academy on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Execs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Crosstown took every set by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-5, 25-6.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosstown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ruby Williams, who had 16 aces. Lucy Burgess was another key player, getting six aces and one assist.

They weren't the only good server: Crosstown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 38 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Crosstown's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Memphis Business Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Crosstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Trezevant on the 23rd. Memphis Business Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Bluff City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
