Salisbury and Reidsville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Salisbury had to settle for second. They fell 77-69 to the Reidsville Rams. The Hornets' loss signaled the end of their 25-game winning streak.

Dionte Neal was his usual excellent self, shooting 59% from the field on his way to 30 points along with eight assists and five rebounds for Reidsville. Neal is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 58 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kendre Harrison, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards.

Salisbury's defeat dropped their record down to 26-4. As for Reidsville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 29-0.

Salisbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reidsville, they will take on Bandys at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bandys knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Reidsville likes a good challenge.
