Wyatt lost to Dunbar back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Chaparrals slipped by the Wildcats 21-20.

Despite the loss, Dunbar still got an impressive performance from Kamron Lloyd, who rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Lloyd got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 90 yards.

The win got Wyatt back to even at 1-1. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Looking ahead, Wyatt will host Chisholm Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Chaparrals' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Dunbar, they will square off against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
