University's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Woodbridge on Friday. The Trojans came out on top against the Katella Knights by a score of 35-28. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead University to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cruz McMullens, who picked up 74 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave McMullens a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two). Joey Davis made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Another reason for the win was University's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Katella's QB won't forget Deandre Miller anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
University's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Katella, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
