Smithville waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They escaped with a win against the Bellville Brahmas by the margin of a single free throw, 38-37. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 502nd, while the Brahmas are ranked 1123rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
