Football Recap: Eastmark Piles Up the Points Against Washington + How To Watch

Eastmark got themselves on the board against Washington on Friday, but Washington never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 48-0 win over the Rams. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Firebirds' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Rams are ranked 181st).

Eastmark found their leader in sophomore Dayne Silver, who threw for 286 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt. Kyson Lunt was in the mix too, providing the Firebirds with two touchdowns.

Eastmark didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brent Glover and James Rivard.

The victory made it two in a row for Eastmark and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.5 points over those games. As for Washington, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Eastmark and Washington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Firebirds will take on rival Mesquite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington is set to square off against their familiar foe Carl Hayden Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
