After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Claremont, Western Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Norton Science & Language Academy Rockets to the tune of 95-24. The Fighting Lancers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Western Christian found their leader in sophomore Jacob Bartholomew, who posted 18 points. Bartholomew continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Bryce Benavidez, who earned 13 points.

Western Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Norton Science & Language Academy, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
