Volleyball Recap: Westlake Chaparrals vs. Akins Eagles        
        
		
             Westlake waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Akins Eagles 3-0. The Chaparrals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.
 Westlake never let Akins on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-5,  25-22.
 Westlake's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Sunny Mcwilliams, who  had 11  digs.
 Westlake  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in eight consecutive  matchups.
 Westlake has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 28-17 record  this season. As for Akins, their defeat was  their sixth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 8-25.
 As of now, neither Westlake nor Akins have any future games scheduled.
