Meanwhile, Howard came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Comets.

Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for Howard, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-1.

Centennial came out on top in a nail-biter against Howard in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
