Soccer Game Preview: Vista Murrieta vs. Los Osos

The Vista Murrieta Broncos will head out on the road to square off against the Los Osos Grizzlies at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Vista Murrieta will be strutting in after a victory while Los Osos will be coming in after a defeat.

Vista Murrieta's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Hesperia.

David Meija and Joshua Ellis scored all three of Vista Murrieta's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Los Osos was not quite Ayala's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the Bulldogs. The loss was the Grizzlies' first of the season.

Vista Murrieta now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Los Osos, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Vista Murrieta came out on top in a nail-biter against Los Osos when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vista Murrieta since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
