Softball Recap: St. Georges Tech Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for St. Georges Tech's offense. They came up short against the Appoquinimink Jaguars on Thursday, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost seven in a row.

St. Georges Tech saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Crook, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

St. Georges Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Appoquinimink, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

St. Georges Tech will face off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Appoquinimink, they will challenge Caravel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
