Basketball Recap: Aquinas Takes a Loss

Aquinas lost to Georgia Military College back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fightin' Irish received a blow as they fell 41-27 to the Bulldogs. The Fightin' Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Lauryn Simpson, who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high.

Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Georgia Military College, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Aquinas has already played their next matchup, a 52-41 loss against Harlem on the 16th. As for Georgia Military College, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-46 defeat against Glascock County on the 19th.
