Coastal Christian piles up the points against Wilson Christian Academy

Recap: Coastal Christian Centurions vs. Wilson Christian Academy Chargers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Hanover, the Coastal Christian Centurions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-19 victory over Wilson Christian Academy on the road. Given Coastal Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Wilson Christian Academy is ranked 475th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Coastal Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Adgent led the charge by scoring 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Davies, who scored 8 points.
Coastal Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Wilson Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Coastal Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Wake Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on December 9th. Wake Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Wilson Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Union Grove Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
