Volleyball Recap: Rudder Takes a Loss

Rudder's tournament run continued when they took on Industrial on Thursday. The Rangers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cobras. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Addison Benavidez paced Rudder's offense, picking up four kills. Benavidez were helped by Maddie Willis and Ja'Liyah McClenton, who contributed six assists each.

Rudder's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Industrial, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Rudder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Seguin on the 21st. As for Industrial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Elgin on the 21st.
