On Saturday, King's Academy faced Archbishop McCarthy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The King's Academy Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Micah Amestoy and Ryan Huff, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Graysen Amestoy and his 11 assists.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Archbishop McCarthy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

King's Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Boca Raton on the 11th. As for Archbishop McCarthy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Cardinal Gibbons on the 11th.
