Basketball Game Preview: Lyons Lions vs. Moundridge Wildcats

Lyons is 2-8 against Moundridge since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lyons Lions will head out to face off against the Moundridge Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Lyons is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 53-22 loss at the hands of Hillsboro.

Meanwhile, Moundridge earned a 60-47 win over Inman on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Lyons' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Moundridge, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Lyons took a serious blow against Moundridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 53-16. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Lyons was down 32-12.
