Softball Recap: Animo Watts Comes Up Short

Animo Watts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers, falling 21-1. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Animo Watts' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Animo Watts is set to challenge their familiar foe Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Animo South Los Angeles will square off against rival Middle College at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
