Soccer Recap: Cummings Takes a Loss

Cummings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jordan-Matthews Jets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Cummings' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jordan-Matthews, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Cummings is taking a road trip to square off against Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Alamance is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6 goals per game this season. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montgomery Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
