Football Recap: North Wake S Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

North Wake S had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Albemarle Bulldogs 49-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Albemarle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aj Butler out in front who rushed for 88 yards and two scores on only eight carries. Another rusher making a difference was Treyvian Legrande, who rushed for 59 yards and one touchdown.

Albemarle has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, North Wake S will take on Harrells Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Albemarle, they will square off against West Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
