Basketball Recap: Center Point Takes a Loss

Center Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 42-22 to the Corner Yellow Jackets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-13 back in December of 2024.

Center Point's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Corner, they moved to 11-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Center Point will face off against Bessemer City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Corner, they will take on Oak Grove at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
