Eastern is 9-1 against Green since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Eastern Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Green Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eastern will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Wheelersburg, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Eastern managed a 58-53 victory over Wheelersburg on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Green, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Lynchburg-Clay by a score of 53-45 on Saturday.

Green's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Eastern, their record is now 2-0.

Eastern strolled past Green in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 63-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastern since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
