It was a good run, but Dobson unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountain Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Dobson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Miles McClurg and Jaime Contreras, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Gavin Andersen and his 16 assists. Gustavo Ramirez and Humberto Salazar kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Dobson's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Red Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Dobson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mesa on the 17th. As for Red Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Skyline on the 17th.
