North Shore is a perfect 8-0 against Summer Creek since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Shore comes in on eight and Summer Creek on three.
On Friday, North Shore didn't have too much trouble with King as they won 42-27.

Hezekiah Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 187 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. Those 187 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Maryland, who rushed for 73 yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Shore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 500 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 165 rushing yards in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Summer Creek was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Kingwood 58-17. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Summer Creek's win came from a few key players North Shore will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Spinks, who threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes. Jamicah Jones was another key player, picking up 124 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
One reason for the win was Summer Creek's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Pj Cormier and Brinley Tita, who racked up four sacks between them. Tita has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times he's played.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Summer Creek, adding 16 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Trenton Thomas, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
North Shore's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Summer Creek, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-1.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Maryland and Spinks. Maryland just won't slow down this season and has thrown 25 touchdowns while averaging 255.2 passing yards per game. Spinks has been a dominant force too and has thrown 27 touchdowns (and and only 3 picks) while averaging 263.4 passing yards per game.
Everything went North Shore's way against Summer Creek in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as North Shore made off with a 35-10 win. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
