Luther Prep had lost ten straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-14 to make it 11. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Michel Krebs and Lucas Martin stepped up to the plate in a big way.
