Whitehall took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Parkland, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Zephyrs had just enough and edged out the Trojans 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Zephyrs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Jack Lloyd spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Seth Hoderewski, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Zack Schaedel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Whitehall's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Parkland, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Whitehall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-4 win against North Schuylkill on the 26th. As for Parkland, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Hazleton Area on the 26th.
