Whitehall took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Parkland, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Zephyrs had just enough and edged out the Trojans 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Zephyrs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Jack Lloyd spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Seth Hoderewski, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Zack Schaedel also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
