Softball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette lost against Sam Houston back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 16-1 to the Broncos. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Heidi Ewing, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Sam Houston, the win was the 20th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2.

While Lafayette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
