Volleyball Recap: North Newton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Newton can now relate to. They came up short against the Tri-County Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row.

Andrijana Barron paced North Newton's offense, picking up four kills. Barron got some help from Riley Higgins and her two assists.

North Newton's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Tri-County, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-9.

North Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tri-County, they will face off against Pioneer at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
