Softball Recap: Irondequoit Takes a Loss

Irondequoit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 19-5 to the Webster Thomas Titans. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 14 runs.

Abby Ras was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ella Cooley, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Irondequoit's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Webster Thomas, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

While Irondequoit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
