Volleyball Recap: New Richmond Falls to Roger Bacon in First Game of Season

New Richmond kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Roger Bacon Spartans, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-6, 25-15.

Roger Bacon can attribute much of their success to Claudia Hoffmann, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most digs Hoffmann has posted since back in October of 2024.

New Richmond has already played their next matchup (against Clinton-Massie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Roger Bacon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Badin on the 19th.
