Softball Recap: Park Hill Trojans vs. Park Hill South Panthers        
        
		
             Park Hill waltzed into their match  on Wednesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They blew past the Park Hill South Panthers 10-1. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six  runs or more this season.
  Mandia Bock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts.
 On the hitting side,  Brooklyn Bertoncino was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jade Tucker, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Park Hill  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 0  strikeouts per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 10.8.
 Park Hill's win was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-5. As for Park Hill South,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-13.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Hill will host Liberty  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Park Hill South, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Central  at 4:00  p.m.
