Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinnacle Classical Academy). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 72-31 victory over the Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs. The win was all the more spectacular given the Eagles' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 509th in North Carolina, while the Mustangs are ranked 241st in South Carolina).

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kiersten Kassner, who posted 11 points.

Pinnacle Classical Academy moved to 6-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Mountain View Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Pinnacle Classical Academy will face off against The Master's Academy on January 24th. The Master's Academy's defense has only allowed 23.3 points per game this season, so Pinnacle Classical Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Mountain View Christian Academy has already played their next contest (against Shining Light Baptist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
