Volleyball Game Preview: Lockport Porters vs. Lincoln-Way West Warriors

The Lockport Porters are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln-Way West Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lockport is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Lockport came up short against Sandburg and fell 2-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Sandburg scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way West also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Lane Tech by a score of 2-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lockport's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Lincoln-Way West, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14.

Lockport beat Lincoln-Way West 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Porters since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
