Basketball Recap: Wheatland Pirates vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras
Wheatland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-29 loss at the hands of the Lincoln Fighting Zebras. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-13.
Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jacob Butler, who posted ten points in addition to six rebounds and six blocks. Butler is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last seven games he's played.
