Volleyball Recap: Mead Hall Episcopal School Panthers vs. Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders
Mead Hall Episcopal School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 22-25, 25-14.
Jefferson Davis Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but ABBY DEERING led the charge by getting nine digs and eight kills. The dominant performance also gave DEERING a new career-high in assists (36). MATTIE MORRIS was another key player, getting 17 kills, ten digs, and three aces.
