Woodbridge and Portola are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Woodbridge Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Portola Bulldogs at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Woodbridge is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

While Portola ultimately came up short, they really made Sage Hill work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 17-25, 28-26, 25-18, 25-18.
Portola's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Woodbridge, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-5.
Woodbridge couldn't quite get it done against Portola when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Woodbridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
