League recap: Fultondale tops Parrish to extend winning streak

2A Region 6 recap Nov. 7, 2012

Fultondale extended the longest winning streak in 2A Region 6 this week by beating Parrish, 49-16. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

Woodland and Cleburne County played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Woodland eventually emerging with a 23-21 victory.

The Bobcats' John Wes Adcock and Tyler Rollins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adcock has thrown for 992 yards this season, while Rollins, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 14 catches for 404 yards. Ardarius Stewart from Fultondale leads the league in rushing with 1515 yards.

Keith Register's team led 2A Region 6 in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Tornadoes.
