Basketball Recap: Upper Sandusky's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Upper Sandusky was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wynford Royals. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Royals earlier this season, when they won 57-54.

Upper Sandusky's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Wynford, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Sandusky will square off against Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seneca East will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Upper Sandusky surely won't give up without a fight. Wynford has already played their next matchup (against Carey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
