Softball Recap: Mcgregor Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

McGregor hadn't done well against West recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. McGregor came out on top against West by a score of 7-4. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Khloe Peterson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Isabella Salas was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Goff, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

McGregor pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13-1.

McGregor will have a chance to go back-to-back against West: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
