Soccer Game Preview: Fort Osage vs. Chrisman

The Fort Osage Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Chrisman Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Osage's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Fort Osage's offense. They fell just short of Raytown by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Fort Osage have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Chrisman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oak Grove.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Fort Osage, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Fort Osage took their win against Chrisman when the teams last played on September 8th by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
