Soccer Recap: Aspen Takes a Loss

Aspen lost against Delta back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skiers came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Aspen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Delta are ranked 25th).

This is the second loss in a row for Aspen and nudges their season record down to 6-5-1. As for Delta, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 14-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Aspen is set to face off against their familiar foe Vail Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Delta will square off against rival Basalt at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
