Baseball Recap: Del Oro Comes Up Short

Del Oro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Arvin Bears, falling 20-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Tuesday.

Del Oro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Arvin, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Del Oro will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Foothill at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Suns surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arvin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Tulare Union at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
