Parkland entered their tilt with Ben L. Smith on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 last Wednesday.

Parkland's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Ben L. Smith, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkland will challenge Western Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkland is facing Western Guilford at the right time seeing as Western Guilford is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Ben L. Smith, they will take on Atkins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Atkins has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.14 runs per game on average), something Ben L. Smith will no doubt try to take advantage of.
