Who's up and who's down

There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll tackle all that (plus a new number one team) in this week's report.

Movin on Up

It isn't too difficult to come out on top when you enjoy a 221-yard edge over your opponent, and Wheeling Park had just that last week. It kept its opponent Morgantown off the scoreboard entirely, winning the match 31 - 0. No one had a larger role in the success than junior Alex Dunlevy, who brought his A game into the contest. He tossed the ball for 197 yards and two TDs. The success catapulted Wheeling Park eight spots up the power rankings, enough to make it the biggest riser of the week.

This Week's Big Showdown

The clash of the power ranking titans last week was between Hurricane (15th in the power rankings) and Huntington (5th). Hurricane came up short against Huntington, falling 28 - 14. As a result, Hurricane fell one position in the power rankings.
