Soccer Recap: Burbank Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Burbank won the last time they faced Burroughs and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Burbank Bulldogs had just enough and edged the Burroughs Bears out 2-1. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Bears are ranked 646th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andre Zargaryan and Chase Verhoeven scored both of Burbank's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Burbank pushed their record up to 12-4-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Burroughs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10-3.
