Softball Recap: Fruitland Grizzlies vs. Cole Valley Christian Chargers

Fruitland extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-14 in the process. They came up short against the Cole Valley Christian Chargers, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

Fruitland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roxy Mason, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

As for Cole Valley Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.5 runs.
