Baseball Recap: Los Gatos Wildcats vs. Milpitas Trojans
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Gatos). Everything went their way against the Milpitas Trojans on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won eight in a row.
Chase Oberthier looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Jayden Thomas was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Will Temple was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
