Volleyball Game Preview: North Henderson Knights vs. T.C. Roberson Rams

The North Henderson Knights will head out to take on the T.C. Roberson Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

North Henderson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pisgah just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2.

North Henderson actually scored more points across those five sets (109-108), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 28-26, 15-12.

Meanwhile, T.C. Roberson faced Enka in a battle between two of the state's top teams two weeks ago. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jets. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

T.C. Roberson was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Enka work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21.

North Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for T.C. Roberson, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

North Henderson might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from T.C. Roberson in their previous meeting on April 1st. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
