Basketball Recap: Clark County Takes a Loss

Clark County lost against Fort Madison back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clark County Indians fell 73-60 to the Fort Madison Bloodhounds.

Despite the loss, Clark County still got an impressive performance from Harrison Parker, who went 9 for 15 en route to 19 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Day, who posted ten points.

Even though they lost, Clark County was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Clark County now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Fort Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

When Clark County and Fort Madison next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Clark County will try to stop Monroe City's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Fort Madison will take on Notre Dame and their seven-game winning streak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
